I’m a Brooklyn-based actress, voiceover artist and singer of Indian and Ghanaian descent. I grew up traveling all over the world – to Ghana, India, Scotland, Thailand, Turkey, Morocco, South Africa, Spain, the Czech Republic to name a few. My travels instilled me with a worldly sophistication and a passion for storytelling.
During one trip to London, I saw a multicultural production of Troilus and Cressida at the National Theater. The production gave me such a sense of belonging. That is the feeling that I strive to evoke in others through my acting.
I have a strong theatre background and have worked with Classical Theatre of Harlem, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Primary Stages and THE TEAM and at Classic Stage Company, the Vineyard Playhouse and Kansas City Repertory Theatre. I am also an ensemble member with Sojourn Theatre.
I've had some exceptional teachers along the way including Kristin Linklater, Anne Bogart and Andrei Serban (at Columbia University’s MFA Acting program) as well as Marci Phillips, Rosemarie Tichler and Mark Saks.
